DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Supervises, coordinates and reviews departmental operations and procedures. Develops various management reports for implementing revised management procedures and policies. Serves as the primary liaison to effectively manage financial policies, procedures and systems. Researches, analyzes, and monitors various operational, management, and financial activities. Acts as liaison to department in handling multiple reporting activities to include internal and external requirements. Serves as Systems Administrator for the State Unit on Aging Program Uniform Reporting System (SPURS) to facilitate an efficient and effective operation to include provide training, technical assistance and consultation; maintain system operations, create programs, evaluates data, responds to all Agency, local, state, mandates for this position. Conducts internal audits and/or needs assessment to identify and document specific financial, operating, and/or management procedures and policies. Assist with implementation, architecture thereof, and revise managing and financial operation procedures and systems where necessary. Develops the skills and competencies of staff/contractors through training and development activities. Prepares documentation on program, operational, and/or financial systems and write user procedures. May prepare training materials, create evaluation assessments, and/or conduct user trainings in related subject matter. Participates in leadership activities in accordance with administration goals and objectives.

The position is physically comfortable; the individual has discretion about walking, standing, etc.
**Preference shall be given to eligible veteran applicants provided such persons possess the qualifications necessary for competent discharge of the duties involved in the position applied for, such persons are among the most qualified candidates for the position, and all other factors in accordance with Executive Order 1-6.**

PREFER: Individuals who understand the architect of various data management systems and reports. Must have excellent computer skills, be able to create programs, and have good customer service abilities.

SALARY INFORMATION

GRANT FUNDED POSITION
Grant positions are dependent upon continued available funds. If funding is no longer available, employee may be laid off or transferred. Factors used in determining the salary offered include the candidate's qualifications as well as the pay rates of other employees in this classification.

Pay Grade 25
