Frontiers approximately 13,900 employees are based entirely in the United States.
The Finance Intern will report to the SVPof FPA and will be responsible for spearheading special projects in the Finance group over a 10 week period. These projects will drive key initiatives to enhance operating financial results, and will be linked to core company strategies.
Illustrative examples of these projects may include analysis of implemented pricing strategies (product mix results, customer migration analysis, organizational/customer impacts and over-all financial results), capital investment return analysis, product development support, channel distribution effectiveness, retention program financial/strategic review, specific long-range planning support and market performance reviews.
As a secondary responsibility, the Finance Intern may be asked to provide support where required for ongoing analysis and business case review.
The Finance Intern will work closely with cross functional leaders, including the Product, Marketing, Engineering, Operations and Region teams.
This is a financial and customer-focused leadership role, and the right leader should have a passion for understanding business drivers and strategic implications, while providing full financial support. An ability to apply hybrid thinking (business/financial model, customer, technology/engineering) and interpretive perspective on customer, and strategic, implications.
In addition, the Intern should have at least a basic grasp of all major business functions and the ability to lead a collaborative process that spans Frontiers various regional and functional groups.
Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
- Providekey support for1-2 parallel projects prioritized by the SLT
- Prepare regular bi-weekly updates for SVP of Financial Planning Analysis
- Present to Senior Leadership Team
- Work closely with all regions and functions, including Marketing, Product, Sales, Engineering, IT
- Inform ongoing financial, market and customer analysis
