CVS/pharmacy is searching for a motivated marketing analytics student to join the CVS/pharmacy ExtraCare Analytics team. The MBA Intern - ExtraCare Analytics will be responsible for assisting with email targeting and analytics activities. This includes contributing to digital marketing campaigns, establishing test vs. control measurement, send time optimization of email engagement, monitoring campaign performance and making recommendations to improve future campaigns. The ExtraCare Analytics Intern will also attend marketing staff meetings and new campaign kickoff meetings to gain a better understanding of how digital marketing and campaign planning works.

The MBA Intern - ExtraCare Analytics will be responsible for the following:

• The successful candidate will apply consumer insights to a holistic digital marketing strategy that drives strategic goals for CVS/pharmacy.
• Write and present documents to guide and inspire the development of brand experiences and marketing communications across multiple channels including email, direct mail, coupon promotion delivery and advertising.
• Participate in marketing planning sessions to develop new and creative ways to engage and activate CVS/pharmacy customers.
• Lead /participate in quantitative analysis to evaluate return on marketing investment. Write and present findings to provide solutions to support key marketing initiatives.
• Possess an understanding of Web Analytics and third-party email tracking metrics to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Inspire innovation and great work; oversee campaign and project implementation
• Create measurable value and ROI for marketing campaigns.
• Communicate insights and suggest improvements based on data and observed trends Required Qualifications:
Candidate should have a passion for analysis and have a strong natural sense of discovery. The candidate should have strong analytics skills, understanding of database structure, experience creating queries using with SQL in an unsupervised setting. The candidate should also have an established comfort level in the creation and use of statistical models preferably within a SAS environment. Additionally, business acumen and attention to detail, delivery of quality analysis should be core-competencies to assist the candidate in solving complex business problems. Candidate should possess a basic understanding for email marketing and its impact on customer behaviors both online and in a traditional retail setting. Candidates for MBA internships must be enrolled in a one or two year MBA program. Candidates must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. Candidates should possess leadership qualities and skills and be studying in a program related to their department of interest Candidates must be available to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the program. Candidates must pass a background check and drug test prior to hiring and being officially accepted into the program. Candidates should be able to work in the United States with no restrictions. Preferred Qualifications:
Successful experience formulating and executing marketing strategy in digital and multi-channel commerce Experience with a broad range of marketing analytics technologies and methods Statistics Software Package Knowledge such as SAS, R, SPSS, Minitab Statistical modeling such as logistic regression, decision tree, neural nets Email campaign management experience Web analytics tools such as WebTrends, Google Analytics, Omniture Education:
