Description
Unpaid intern needed for the spring/summer semester for 3 days per week to assist the Art department of fashion and beauty magazine. Great opportunity for a Junior or Senior graphic design student or graduate looking to break into graphic/magazine publishing arena. 6-10 hours per week required. Intern does not have to receive school credit. Skype required 3 days a week for intern that is not local.
Responsibilities
Photography Intern would develop and manage photo database of stock photography and runway and magazine images to create a photoshoot database.
Photo retouching and light digital imaging
Create and maintain database of creative companies and artist and assist in introducing company.
Attend occasional evening events for the magazine and photograph for credit in the publication
Requirements
Desire to working in magazine photography, photo editing or graphic design
Strong working knowledge and experience in using Adobe Photoshop, Indesign, Acrobat etc.
Photo editing experience
Internet research experience
Photography background a plus (Abie to attend events and photograph for credit or assist with photoshoots)
