Description
Parenting magazine seeking intern to assist with all facets of communication in editorial and marketing departments. Projects will be in print and digital media, including editorial-based assignments, social media engagement, event promotion and web-related tasks. Intern will focus on reader engagement, digital delivery of promotional and marketing messages and will aid in social media events and promotions.
Responsibilities
Intern will write, research, manage web and print content, write press releases, work in email marketing and editing software. Student will fulfill giveaways and reader engagement contests and seek out partnerships and cross-promotion opportunities for events, print and digital. Student will work with bloggers and edit/post digital content in a variety of platforms. Social media promotions and growth will be a focus.
Intern will be required to coordinate, promote and attend community events, handing out magazines, representing the publication and promoting our print and digital products.
Requirements
- Must live in metro-Charlotte area.
- Must have transportation.
- College credit
- Journalism, English, Communications or related studies.
