Are you a focused and ambitious student looking for an internship that will give you REAL ownership and responsibilities? If you like getting coffee and pushing paper around, please do not apply. I am a small start-up business and need more hands on deck to get my services in front of even more actors in need of marketing help! This internship is perfect for you if you want a fast-paced learning experience that provides you with real work experience instead of just occasional grunt work that no one else wants to do. You’ll be assisting me in creating and marketing educational content, and connecting and building relationships with other like-minded businesses. YOU are positive, responsible, organized, creative, forward-thinking, and easy going. You’re a creative and detail-oriented person who can keep yourself accountable to deadlines without supervision. You’re extremely web-savvy - meaning you can post a blog on Wordpress, pre-schedule tweets, track retweets and social media conversations, learn about SEO. You’re a quick learner, and great with follow through. Some of your responsibilities will include: Editing articles, blog posts and presentations Re-purposing content Online research Managing and scheduling social media strategies You will also be working with the following programs: 1shoppingcart.com Optimize Press Youtube Hootsuite Wordpress.org Though it is not required, if you have Photoshop and editing experience, that is a major plus. I will of course train you in these programs, but I am looking for someone who has the motivation to figure out how to use them more efficiently. I can get them to do what I need, but haven't had time to truly master them, and that's where you come in!
