Description
The San Francisco Conservation Corps (SFCC) is a non-profit job readiness and education program serving young adults between the approximate ages of 18 and 26 who work in crews to address community needs through service and conservation-related work. SFCC work readiness opportunities for young adults include, but are not limited to, landscaping, restoration, installing play structures at public schools and community centers, recycling, and internships. Concurrently and in partnership with the John Muir Charter School, the young adults focus on attaining their High School Diploma or participate in the Corps-to-Career higher education program.
Responsibilities
The Marketing Intern will be assisting in design of printed material, social media coordination, event assistance, and website maintenance. Other duties may be assigned by internship supervisor.
Requirements
The Marketing Intern works closely with SFCC’s Development Manager and the rest of the Development team. This internship provides a focus on marketing for non-profit social services.
Responsibilities include: • Assisting the Development team with the planning and implementation of marketing strategies, including emails, printing, mailings, and social media outreach. • Helping to identify and research new outreach opportunities for our organization. • Work closely with the Development team to ensure we're fully leveraging the website for maximum impact/results.
