Hashtagart creates custom Facebook and Twitter applications for celebrities and big brands. The applications are powered by fans and followers and are a blast to use. Some of our clients include MTV, McDonalds, NBC, Katy Perry, The Giants, and more.
We are a part of Sparkplug, a Y&R incubator dedicated to innovate companies in the digital space. We are a small team looking for a social media and marketing driven intern. Please see 'Responsibilities' for more information.
Responsibilities
Does working for an exciting tech start up interest you? Want to get your hands dirty in the marketing and social media sector not to mention gain valuable experience before you hit the "real world"? Our marketing intern will work directly with the Marketing Director and Account Director to help strengthen our marketing and social media efforts. Tasks include client and competitor research, managing social media outlets, blogging and outreach, brainstorming new marketing ideas and PR experience. We're also open to whatever other projects you'd like to get into and your creative ideas!
This is a non-paid internship, can do college-credit, looking to start ASAP.
Requirements
Any experience in marketing is nice, but not required. Should demonstrate an interest in and like social media, its content, and the future of digital marketing. Please also live in NYC and surrounding boroughs or be able to easily get to our offices in Manhattan.
