Description
The Marketing Intern is principally responsible for managing various marketing and social networking campaigns for Mortgage Auction’s customer acquisition on MortgageAuction.com.
Responsibilities
To accomplish this task, s/he needs to:
• Assist company founders in researching and implementing various online advertising and pay-per-click trials to evaluate “Cost of Acquisition”.
• Build a social network audience on Twitter, Linkedin, Facebook and Pinterest.
• Post daily ads on local Craigslist categories.
• Discover relevant news and articles online for developing relevant content for online audiences that are interested in mortgages, real estate, and personal finance.
• Research and develop target online audiences. Create demographic personas for business analysis.
Requirements
• Must be a current Junior or Senior enrolled at a four-year institution or acquiring a post-graduate degree. Pursuit of a Marketing, Communications, Finance or Business degree is desired.
• Have a working knowledge of computers and email, as well as word processing and database management software.
• You must be able to commit 10-15 flexible hours per week, working from home is desired.
• A strong work ethic, risk-taking mentality, and ability to work independently are a must!
• Familiarity with the finance or real estate industry and desire to work for a start-up preferred.
• Prior industry experience in relevant areas desirable.
