Liquid Catering is a special event bartending company based in Greenville, SC. We specialize in providing full-service bar and beverage packages for weddings, corporate event, galas and much more. Aside from beverage catering, we also offer event management and staffing services. Our top-shelf clients include Greenville Hospital System, TOWN Magazine, Clemson University and the Peace Center for the Performing Arts, just to name a few
WHAT TO EXPECT
• Aside from gaining valuable work experience, your time at Liquid Catering will be filled with big parties, long hours and social time.
• Interns will work 35-40 hour per week. Each week varies, but expect to spend 20-30 hours a week in the office, with 5-15 hours at events if desired.
• Office stipend is $1.00 per hour worked. Event pay varies from $14-$30 an hour.
• Dress code is business casual in the office, black pants and black shoes on events.
• At least one day per week will be spent out in the city marketing.
• We have weekly team meetings, and then you spend one hour per week in a development session with the Company Owner or Office Manager.
Responsibilities
Our intern program offers a unique experience to get hands on in the special event world. You will receive experience in both the sales and marketing aspects of our catering and event planning business. Some of the job responsibilities include:
• Cold-call on new clients and prospective partner vendors
• Manage incoming sales call and follow-up with leads
• Research and manage our customer database
• Create and execute marketing plans for new products
• Manage social media and blogging
• Assist sales team at trade shows
• Create marketing and sales collateral
• Make appointments with potential clients and vendors
Requirements
• Must be 21 years of age
• Must have your own vehicle and cell phone (mileage is reimbursed for company time)
• Intern is responsible for their own housing and insurance arrangements
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Should demonstrate excellent communication and verbal skills
• Should demonstrate strong leadership and time management skills
