Description
A Managing Broker of one of the largest real estate brokerages in the country is seeking an intern to assist with marketing, public relations, social media, event planning and other projects. The intern will get intimate knowledge of the real estate industry, marketing, media relations and work directly with the Managing Broker/Vice President.Responsibilities
Some of the internship projects include:Research area graduate schools and contact them about having home buying seminars and helping to organize these seminars.
Contact local universities about putting on program for parents to learn about investing in homes in the area for their undergraduate student;
Prepare fact sheet to be included in admission packages sent to admitted students and parents
Research businesses relocating to DC area and contact them about helping employees with housing needs
Research non-real estate specific trade shows to attend
Develop highly targeted Facebook advertisements
Post daily content to Facebook targeted to real estate and to specific neighborhoods and communities
Develop real estate video ideas
Contact media with pitches about real estate expertise
Help prepare blog article content
Compile blog articles into an e-book about buying/selling a home
Organize client party
Create personalized pamphlets, flyers, listing materials, buyer materials, advertising, etc.
Create a “pampering past clients” program
Help create presentations for potential speaking appearances and contact groups that are looking for convention speakers
Requirements
* Interest in the real estate field* Writing experience
* Graphics Design background is a plus
* Strong familiarity and knowledge of social media is a plus.
