Description
Yellow Light Foundation provides immediate services to living survivors of suicide. YLF was founded in 2010 by Lindsay Westfall who had lost 5 family members to suicide within a 10 year period. Lindsay quickly found that there was a great need for immediate services in the area. YLF currently serves Northwestern Iowa however hopes to grow in terms of demographic area over the years. YLF is currently operating out of Lindsay's home office however is currently in the process of moving into a more centralized location in BV County, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Create signage, newsletters, direct mail, email campaigns, online promotions, etc.
- Provide support to social media efforts to target new audiences.
- Assist with special events to promote company and increase attendance.
- Research marketing and sales materials.
- Develop and maintain web presence.
- Prepare news releases and diversify community communications.
- Research current donor prospects and potential new donors.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Marketing
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Possess creativity, flexibility, variety, and growth potential.
- Should be open-minded, a fast learner, enthusiastic, and adaptable.
