Advanced Midwest Institute for Counseling & Psychotherapy’s mission is to provide a full-service counseling center that seeks to provide our clients with the highest level of care using compassion and empathy. AMI is seeking a bright, outgoing, detail-oriented individual to help market and promote the practice. If you enjoy meeting people, can think outside the box and can present yourself in a professional manner while having fun, this may be the internship for you!Responsibilities
MAJOR DUTIES:•Manage CMR (Customer Relationship Management) database.
•Design/edit marketing materials and handle print requests in a timely manner.
•Ability to network and follow up with referral sources.
•Handle all duties related to mailings, event planning and seminars.
•Ability to write press releases and maintain social networking sites.
•Desire to research and learn about different methods of marketing and branding.
MINOR DUTIES:
•Put together media kits, seminar materials and give-aways at events.
•Minor scheduling related to marketing events.
Requirements
•Ability to present self in professional manner to healthcare providers, community agencies, and other referral sources at all times.•Ability to work independently while communicating with Clinical Director and other staff as needed.
•Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
•Must profess computer proficiency; knowledge of Publisher and other design software a plus
•Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
•Position is unpaid, will work with your college to obtain course credit.
