Exaco Trading (www.exaco.com) in looking for new ideas to broaden its exposure on the internet. Our company specializes in the distribution of high quality products such as greenhouses and compost bins - products which help save the environment. All our items are imported - mainly from Europe. Our customers are major websites (including: homedepot.com, amazon.com, samsclub.com, costco.com, etc.). We like to explore all possible avenues to increase the exposure of our products including different sales channels. We are looking for an intern who we can help teach everything we know about the import distribution business (25-years) and who in turn can bring us in to the digital age and more. Company currently employs 5 people.
Responsibilities
Study what the company does now.
Help with all aspects of the business.
Study our sales & marketing activities and make suggestions as to what we should do different - specifically:
Increase exposure of our items on different websites.
Contact website buyers with suggestions as to how to improve the exposure of our products on their websites.
This can include to help write new - better - product presentations.
To provide a new "younger" look
Requirements
At least 2 years of university and be enrolled in a 4-year degree program.
Work experience in the internet world - website development.
Someone with new ideas and a willingness and ability to work on their own.
Can contribute at least 10-15 week (more is always appreciated).
Wiling to learn about our business by participating in all aspects of what we do.
