This internship will provide introduction to the fundamentals of business acquisitions. Working alongside our senior management team at our corporate office in Williamsville, NY, this intern will support financial due diligence and gain knowledge of underwriting requirements for hotel and healthcare acquisitions.
Responsibilities
• Support business development activities with international hotel brands, including Hilton and Marriott, as well as Healthcare equity ownership and management companies
• Provide industry research and regional trends analysis to senior management
• Identify business opportunities and/or risks associated with target acquisitions
• Support due diligence and financial analysis of target acquisitions
• Support valuation modeling, cash flow analysis and revenue forecasting
• Contribute financial data to assist senior management in preparing financial and business plans
• Support strategic recommendations to senior management based upon research and analysis performed
Requirements
Must be advanced Microsoft Excel user; Excellent communication skills, including written and organization; Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
