International Medical News Group/Global Medical News Network is seeking a part-time journalism multimedia intern to help with editorial duties and multimedia efforts for Summer 2011. (ALSO ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR FALL 2011.) Resourcefulness, attention to detail and commitment to accuracy are essential.
Responsibilities
Internship responsibilities may include assisting with uploading content to websites, writing health/medical news articles and blog posts, and researching and procuring rights for photos and images to complement medical articles and video interviews. Opportunities may arise to work with editors and reporters to shoot and edit videos and podcasts.

Requirements
Knowledge of journalism principles and/or interest in health science a plus. Must be able to receive academic credit and work in Rockville, Md., office, located near Twinbrook Metro station. This internship is unpaid, but parking fees will be covered. Minimum 2-3 days a week, flexible schedule.
