Description
Our semester long internship seeks college juniors, seniors and graduate students who are interested in independent music. Our interns will be assisting with Blues Island Records & Productions Artist Management duties and will work in tandem with our Booking Agents. Our booking intern will be exposed to and learn:
Database Entry (research festivals, clubs, promoters, blogs, and potential sponsors)
Lead Generating for Concert Bookings.
Coordinating Artist Riders for upcoming shows
Social Networking Management and online Marketing
General administrative duties may include emailing, faxing, making photocopies.
OUR NON-PAYING for college credit internship will expose the intern to all facets of agency operations. Interns will work side by side with agents
Requirements
We will only consider local candidates seeking a for credit internship. Candidates must possess strong organizational, analytical, and multi tasking skills and must be self starters. Dependability and commitment are essential. Candidates must provide their own laptops and transportation. We expect applied knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
