Description

Brainstorm and contribute creative ideas
Assist in crafting marketing and publicity materials, including press releases, editorial decks and one-sheets, sizzle reels, etc.
Assist with booking editorial team as experts on broadcast, radio, and print
Assist with one-on-one outreach to site/blogs for site and social media placements
Assist in compiling media coverage of Celebuzz for bi-weekly sales report
Assist in developing a communications strategy that includes online, offline, mobile and social components
Update marketing and research materials (PPT presentations, Excel spreadsheets and Word docs)
Shadow with various internal teams (Video Production, Editorial, and Branded Entertainment)

Requirements

We are seeking intelligent, creative, driven and detail-orientated individuals with excellent communication & interpersonal skills. You should have a deep love of all things pop culture and a strong desire to learn in a dynamic & fun environment. Have an understanding of social media and best practices, and preferably use it personally on a regular basis. An interest or major/minor in marketing, public relations, or communications, a desire to learn the marketing/PR business, contribute to the team and a positive and enthusiastic attitude are essential, as are knowledge and expertise in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Photoshop.
