Using a variety of hand power tools, fixtures, and work instructions performs a series of operations to correctly assemble food guard products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
*Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures.
*Read parts list.
*Positions parts according to blueprints and schematics.
*Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, clips, or other fasteners.
*Ensure all parts are fitted and screwed in properly.
*Works at different work stations as production needs require.
*Works on line where tasks vary as different model of same article moves along line.
*Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
*Meet and exceed the customer's expectations while supporting the delivery of a quality product on time.
*Continuously improve processes and customer products, individually and/or as part of an organized task force.
*Work productively and professionally with all employees.
*Develop and revise work processes to increase efficiency and reduce expenses.
*Adjust to changes made in the workplace, including but not limited to processes, procedures, and reporting relationships.
*Provide accurate data for measurements.
High school diploma preferred.
Some technical training preferred.
6 months experience, preferably some experience with electrical wiring.
*While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach within hands and arms length; and talk or hear.
*The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects.
*The ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine or a vehicle to exact positions.
*The ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position.
*Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body.
*Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
