Description The purpose of this department is to provide engineering and operational support for the enterprise network, which includes voice and data.   The scope of this job is to provide initial response support for incoming calls, network administration functions, network monitoring, and ticket management   The position will be responsible for
1. Troubleshooting/Problem Resolution - The Network Operation Center provides enterprise break fix services for enterprise servers and the enterprise network infrastructure.
2. Monitoring - The NOC is responsible for monitoring the health of the Enterprise Network. This includes monitoring the entire Allstate Network 24x7, including LAN/WAN resources, and Novell and NT Servers.

Qualifications The required skills are:
1. Problem Solving (Beginner - has general understanding/knowledge) 2. Communication Skills (Beginner - has general understanding/knowledge)   Experience Required:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have completed 2 to 3 classes in the Computer Technology curriculum
• Must have a GPA of 3.00 or higher (or equivalent) overall and in major

Education:   Preferred candidates will have completed sophomore year and currently be enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree Program   Major preference:
Computer Technology (or equivalent)
