The Record-Journal Publishing Co. is seeking graduate and undergraduate journalism/broadcast/media students interested in building a multimedia news experience by utilizing modern media trends and exploring new avenues to disseminate news to our communities. We’re looking for someone who can utilize the online tools at their disposal and create a unique news experience for users.
Interns may also produce content for the company’s websites including stories, blogs, videos and photo galleries. They will gain valuable experience updating and maintaining a community news site. Interested interns will also gain experience in web design and website creation.
Requirements
Video editing skills, social media familiarity, Adobe software proficiency, and HTML/CSS are knowledge a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as a journalism background required.
