Description
Interns will work closely with Directors of all Festival departments in the lead-up to the 9th annual Festival, which is anticipated to include 500+ events, including screenings, premieres, panels and Festival-facilitated meetings. Candidates with varied entertainment interests are welcome, though those with particular interest or experience in writing, development, film/television critique, filming and editing, communications, promotions, and social media are of particular interest.
Responsibilities
Candidates should be available for either part-time or full-time positions, with a minimum of 20 hours/week. Start date is negotiable pending availability, though candidates with availability beginning on or around June 3rd are preferred. As this internship is unpaid, students can register the internship for academic credit with their college or university, though it is not required. Additionally, a daily food/transportation stipend will be provided.

Requirements
Ideal candidates should be college students, recent graduates, or students enrolled in a graduate program with a strong interest in the world of television, an understanding and appreciation of non-scripted television formats, a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and access to a laptop. Previous office experience is preferred, and previous festival experience is a plus, although not required. Candidates are encouraged to return and experience the Festival after their internship has concluded (scheduled for October 21 - 26, 2013).
