Mental Health America is recruiting a Non-Profit Accounting Intern for the office in Alexandria, VA. This position is ideal for students interested in pursuing careers in finance, accounting, business, or non-profit management. This position is available for the summer of 2013. We take pride in considering our internships ‘hands-on' learning experiences. If you intern at our office, you'll get a wide range of experience and access to staff members who can help coach you and teach you practical applications for all the things you learned in school. As a Non-Profit Accounting Intern, you'll get firsthand experience working with accounting software, analyzing financial data from 990s, reconciling investments, preparing for audits, and much more.
