Description
The mission of INMED Partnerships for Children is to rescue children from the immediate and irreversible harm of disease, hunger, abuse, neglect, violence or instability, and to prepare them to shape a brighter future for themselves and the next generation. Our Compton-based office supports pregnant and parenting teens through case management, STD education, and job training.
INMED Partnerships for Children has an ideal position for a college student or recent graduate seeking experience in nonprofit marketing and communications. This is an unpaid internship. The ideal candidate must be available at least 6 hours per week with a minimum 3 month commitment.
AS A MARKETING and COMMUNICATIONS INTERN YOU WILL:
• Become familiar with the inner workings of a nonprofit organization
• Gain experience in the communications and marketing process
• Develop skills for a future career in nonprofit marketing
• Work with a great team of committed nonprofit professionals
Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITES and DUTIES:
• Creating electronic newsletters
• Creating and designing educational and outreach materials
• Growing our social media presence
