Join Nourishing USA as we help to teach our Junior Chef summer classes: show students how to cook a nutritious and delicious meal, how to navigate a kitchen safely and nutrition based recipes to in-need clients of food deserts in Harlem and throughout the NYC area.
This is an Intensive Nutritional Education Internship. It is a 10-15 hour per week unpaid internship that allows you to help create lesson plans, teach classes hands on and connect with in-need clients that are seeking nourishment. Must be a nutritional, food studies or public health student to apply. The internship is intended to behave as a school credit. Internship takes place in Manhattan and the Bronx and will be in the summer of 2013, however we are seeking interviews with possible interns before March 28th. Responsibilities
Help create nutritional content, health articles, lesson plans, teach classes hands on and connect with in-need clients that are seeking nourishment.
The Junior Chef program was created to connect undeserved and undernourished youth to the culinary arts while educating students and their families on issues of nutrition and wellness.

Must be a nutritional student seeking university credit to apply- MUST BE AVAILABLE throughout the Summer of 2013 including weekends.
