Our client is seeking a contract Recruiting Associate for a long term project at its Pittsburgh, PA facility. The successful candidate will play an integral part in our recruiting process.
• You will provide guidance to jobseekers and hiring managers.
• You will assist recruiters throughout the recruiting process from creating and posting our available positions to scheduling interviews and facilitating the interview process.
The incumbent will:
o Be the first point of contact for questions related to the recruiting process and system from jobseekers, hiring managers, and recruiters through the client’s CRM system
o Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers on creating requisitions; post requisitions to various recruitment sources; coordinate interview schedules between the hiring managers and jobseekers;
o Create offer letters; facilitate pre-employment contingencies, inclusive of background/medical checks; complete new hire paperwork and enter new hire information on systems.
• High School diploma or equivalent and 7 years of relevant work experience; candidates will also be considered with Bachelors degree in HR or equivalent with 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
•Excellent interpersonal skills and team orientation;
•Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
•Proven ability to coordinate and prioritize the workload of multiple activities, while maintaining a high level of customer service in a complex, fast paced environment;
•Meet deadlines and drive assignments to their completion;
•Ability to receive and respond to requests by following established procedures not requiring management review;
•Ability to raise issues to the appropriate level when inconsistencies are noted;
•Strong MS Word, Excel and Lotus Notes/Outlook skills;
•Prior experience in Human Resources or Recruitment Operations or Administration in a corporate environment.
