PES Katy is based in Houston, Texas but operates worldwide. We offer unpaid internships year-round as we take on different projects of varying scopes. Our focus is on Special Event planning, which means we organize nationwide entertainment-related events such as Film Premieres and Fan parties, etc. Our clients range from movie studios to corporations to non-profits, so our events can be quite different from one to the next.

We also offer Business Services: Web hosting & Design/ IT, Customized applications, business-in-a-box.

We are expanding our operations and need someone with SEO/ppc, social media management and online marketing skills and or experience to help develop and launch effective social media and marketing tactics and campaigns to promote our services and special events.

To put together our events we source out everything from photographers, food vendors, local sponsors, etc, in different cities. We are in the process of building our national network of providers that we can utilize for any events in their localities. Our work schedule can be strange and very flexible but as long as a path to communication between us is always clear, I can work with whatever hours you desire. I expect you to tell me what hours you will be available every week - yes you do get to make your own schedule, within reason. Communication is always key.
Because we are a starting company we are still growing, which means our work is on an "per project" basis. Some clients may require someone “as needed” and someone else may require more regular work. I'm an extremely easy person for whom to work, as long as the work assigned is completed to specifications, I'm fairly easygoing and can be flexible, especially in regards to schedules. What matters the most is reliability and a professional attitude at all times.

Must meet all of the requirements:
- Based or living in the US
- Must be perfectly fluent in English, additional languages always a plus.
- Must be high-energy and posses a high degree of creativity, innovation and problem solving skills. The ability to stop and change direction is a must.

Responsibilities


Help screen and vet applicants to our Event Planning network
Research and compile information as instructed
Assist with emails and some calls
Help make requested changes to website or social media pages
Help oversee Social Media and Marketing departments
Misc. delegated tasks as needed

Requirements

Good organizational skills and a professional, can-do attitude.
The ability to work alone without supervision.
Be self-driven and dedicated

Be proficient with most Microsoft Office Software
Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
