Description

Who we are – Viking Building Services is a ‘Business to Business’ sales and management company. Viking Building provides green office-cleaning, landscaping and security services to commercial customers in Houston and surrounding areas. Small companies individually owned by members of the service the contracts secured for them by Viking Building Services. Viking provides participating business owners (“member/ participants”) with sales and marketing support, as well as administrative services (billing, collections, group purchasing, etc.) and business consulting to help with operational and growth issues.

Responsibilities

Position Description – The position includes both administrative and customer service support. Responsibilities include billing, customer satisfaction calls, customer and worker support, and administrative responsibilities. Typical Monday through Friday business hours are observed.

Success Factors – Ability to self manage, effectively communicate with customers, multi-task, organize, take a genuine interest in the success of the office team, and maintain a positive and proactive attitude.

Compensation – This is a work experience internship and the student is expected to use the things he/she has learned in school and put them into practice. Upon successful completion of six (6) months, an hourly or salaried position is available to the student, typically along with an incentive program. Advancement opportunities are available.
