The online content intern position (a non-technical position) reports directly to the Content Manager. The content intern is responsible for helping to maintain and create the Company's online training materials. Online training content requires constant updating and “refreshing” to maintain interest and integrity. During the course of a year over 1,000 minor changes and modifications are typically requested from clients through the course evaluation process. In addition, complete revision of courses is required periodically to ensure current information and “freshness” of the content, as well as integration of multimedia elements. The ability to work together with designers to create interactions that are both appealing to look at and use and that enhance learning is critical. Finally, new courses are requested by the Company's partners and are created to support the Company's marketing and sales strategy. The content intern is responsible for coordinating the conversion of existing course content to web-based training and/or researching and writing new course materials.
Administrative responsibilities include the management of industry-specific variants of the Company's standard training content, research and development of dynamic and comprehensive course content, and editing corporate marketing materials. Additionally, you will need to work closely with our Manager of Regulatory Compliance to ensure courses meet regulatory requirements for continuing education approval.
