IMPACT Works with shopping centers, restaurants, salons, artists, entertainers, motivational speakers, charities, congressional candidates and corporate clients.

Position open to undergrad students, graduate students or anyone who has interest or limited experience in marketing.

Responsibilities:

Select students may be asked to participate in event production, candidate scheduling, press interaction, fundraising and/or opposition research.

Depending on your level of interest, there is also an opportunity to get experience during your internship in areas of event planning and coordination, writing and editing, etc.

Requirements:

- Interest in learning to be a Social Media Digital Marketer
- Interest in public relations is a plus, but not necessary
- Able to initiate innovative ideas that will appeal to target audiences
- Strong communication and people skills with openness to networking
- Willingness to promote various business and marketing endeavors
- Creativity and ability to think outside the box
- Ability to work in a variety of locations, including outdoors, and with some time flexibility
- Organization, time management, and ability to simultaneously handle multiple tasks
- Must have a car and be able to drive in DC/VA/MD
- Important to have a humble, hard working and positive attitude
- Eagerness to try new things and flexibility to switch from one task to another
