Part-time paid internship - North Star Canoe Rentals is a small family run canoe and kayaking outfitter operating in Vermont and New Hampshire. We are looking for an intern for the summer 2013 season to work 3 days a week on local marketing activities. Work includes, design on promotional material, managing our companies web presence and distributing promotional material locally. The intern will get first hand experience on how a small outdoor industry business markets. The positions pays a $100 a week stipend. Responsibilities
-creating/designing promotional material
-managing companies online presence (managing company Facebook page ect.)
-distributing promotional material locally (must have valid drivers license)
Requirements
-candidate must have experience or coursework in marketing or business.
-we will also except candidates with a graphic design background.
-all candidates must have some interest in marketing in the outdoor industry.
