Description
Sports manager for a youth sports company in Montclair, New Jersey is seeking a detail-oriented events planning intern for the spring semester. This person will be heavily involved in assisting with the Softball Road Tour coverage plan and will be working directly with the Softball Sports Manager.
This internship is for credit, and will conclude at the end of the semester in May. At the conclusion of the internship, this person will have a portfolio-ready project that can be used in their professional portfolio.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include, research, planning, brainstorming, event planning, PR/Social Media, writing, tournament preparation, and some administrative work.
Requirements
Must be detail-oriented, posses a sports background (Softball knowledge is a plus), be interested in event planning, able to come into the office a minimum of three days per week, be eager to learn, have great communication skills, and have the ability to multitask.
