Description:

The New Jersey Herald has a "Quinternship Paid Internship Program" that is offered to students in journalism, broadcasting, communications and related fields. A limited number of internships are available in the departments of news, production, promotion, sales, interactive media and engineering.

Responsibilities:

Interns will be assigned an advisor/mentor by the company. The intern will work with, rely on and communicate with their advisor/mentor during their internship. Application, and additional documentation or work samples may be required. Quinterns must be college Juniors, Seniors or Graduate Students. A declared major relating to the Quintern position is required. A letter of recommendation from a professor or advisor is required. Formal interviews will narrow candidates.

Internships usually run concurrently with the intern's academic semester, but can and may include opportunities during holiday breaks and summer recesses.
