Local Manhattan Law Firm is seeking a Part-Time Paralegal / Intake Coordinator Internship with flexible hours 3 days a week. INTERNSHIP UNPAID – COMMISSION/BONUS OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE ABOUT US The Law Offices of Aaron R. Vega is committed to helping people obtain their Social Security Disability benefits with minimum hassle. We have experience with helping people across the United States win their benefits at all levels of the adjudicative process. We represent those are mentally and physically disabled, cannot work and cannot pay for daily necessities. We never charge our clients legal fees unless we win their benefits. DESCRIPTION Take advantage of unparalleled learning opportunities within our small, fast-paced, growing law firm. Candidate must be able to work in our office 3 days a week. The hours are flexible and ideal for grad students as they could be mornings or afternoons or a combination of both. This valuable internship provides a hands-on learning experience in a fast paced environment. This is a great opportunity to build experience while obtaining school credit. This internship requires individual to be on the front lines of client contact. Intern will speak to the clients to determine their issues, review documents, and look up case files. They will also be responsible for setting up appointments, doing intakes and reviewing documentation. The intern will gain experience in the social security disability area of law. Responsibilities

OTHER RESPONSBILITIES MAY INCLUDE • Client Intake • Clerical Duties as assigned • Mail Processing (prepare, pick up, sort, deliver etc.) • Pre-Litigation Support • Filing ** Spanish speaking, law office and administrative experience a plus!

REQUIREMENTS Strong Analytical Abilities and Attention to Detail and Organization Candidates must be enrolled as a student at an accredited school that requires intern work experience.
