Belmont family seeks a Personal Assistant to work in their home on either a temp-perm or long-term temporary basis. The ideal candidate should have a degree and personal assistance experience along with Admin skills and the ability to think at a higher level regarding household and administrative management. The person needs to be extremely organized and flexible and possess a take-charge attitude.
Please note that there will be an extensive background check and drug screen. Also - a clean driving record is a must.
Responsibilities would include everything from handling payroll and scheduling of household staff, to following-up on the family's medical insurance claims, bills and receipts while maintaining an office filing system for all the paperwork. The support will mostly be directed to the mother of the home with handling her calendar and paperwork but also being available to simply assist her with hanging a curtain rod or scheduling a clothing donation. Excel experience is needed to do spreadsheets and the person should feel comfortable with such things as putting together and sending out invitations and have the ability to use Apple Calendar or another scheduling type of application for schedules. Advanced software skills are not needed. The candidate just shouldn't need to take a whole day to figure out how to do a certain task on the computer. Quicken would be helpful, but not required. The candidate definitely needs to be resourceful AND has a good work ethic!
The hours for this opportunity has a flexible start between 9am-10am. Reliability and punctuality are most important in this role.
The Administrative responsibilities will be on a Macintosh system, so someone who is comfortable on a Mac is best. MS Office 2010 is used and so is Quicken for paying bills. Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Apple Calendar is needed. Advanced skills are not required as long as the person is comfortable contacting tech support if needed.
Beyond the administrative portion of the position, the candidate should be extremely organized and enjoy the process of organizing situations. The person needs to be extremely intelligent and have the ability to think beyond the task they are being asked to do. Someone who can think independently, but who will also ask before they execute on something that was not specifically discussed is needed.

The Personal Assistant working from the home will be working together with other household staff to make sure the family's lives are running as smoothly as possible. As a dynamic and organized self-starter, you will be responsible for coordinating and organizing a busy family?s personal affairs.
Communicate with family to ensure constant, efficient flow of information from calls, mail and emails to keep the family advised
Maintain a busy calendar including: planning, prepping and scheduling meetings
Management of household
Personal and family calendar management
Plan and manage special events as directed
Maintain standards of professionalism and perfection.
Assist in the payment and tracking of personal and household expenses
