Description
Fairness.com LLC, publisher of the non-commercial Fairness.com website, has several telecommute internships covering the 2012 elections. This is a great opportunity for those wishing to do serious journalistic work during the early stages of the national political campaigns.
Responsibilities
1. Conduct interviews and arrange panel discussions on campaign topics.
2. Add candidates' speeches and position papers to our database and report on reactions to them using our NowComment® document discussion/annotation tool.
3. Collaboration on ongoing coverage of key election issues.
4. Occasional help testing new features of the site software.

Requirements
* Extensive knowledge of US national politics and current events is required
* Journalism coursework or experience is a significant plus but not absolutely required.
* Broadband Internet access during internship hours.
* Strong work ethic; successful interns must be disciplined enough to work well on their own and to keep their personal political views and preferences from interfering with (or even being discernible in) their internship work.
