Description
Influence Communications is seeking a Political Science intern interested in gaining experience in the political area. Intern will work on several campaigns throughout Miami-Dade County.
Responsibilities
- Staying posted daily on political news and analysis in campaign districts
- Tracking clients in the news and through social media
- Reviewing poll memos and presentations to be sent out to clients/campaigns
- Assisting with writing and reviewing
- Updating client website
- Joining conference calls whenever possible
- Monitoring live interviews
- Attend client meetings
- Attend client events
- Assist in client related errands
Requirements
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish
- University Junior or Senior
- Must be available a minimum of 12 – 15 hours per week
- Proficient writing and editing skills
- Professional attitude
- Understanding of Miami-Dade government
