Internship Learning Objectives and Benefits:
Improve collaborative skills by working with team and mentor.
Acquire diverse experience while producing design work for clients who have existing brand standards or clients who offer generous creative freedom.
Receive one-on-one direction and feedback in an environment that fosters individual creativity and values your vision and skill set.
Gain a well-rounded knowledge and understanding the role design plays in larger marketing campaign.
Fill portfolio with projects from internationally known and well respected brands.
Create and cultivate print and web designs.
Execute creative vision by using a combination of Adobe Creative Suite software.
Strategize, collaborate and improve during weekly team meetings.
Self-manage assigned workload with ongoing supervision, direction and feedback.
Print design: create identity materials, print advertising, marketing collateral, and more.
Web design: create flash and animated gif. ads, design and format html eblasts and basic web designs.
Mastery of the following is NOT REQUIRED, rather the canidate should have some combination of the following abilities:
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Knowledge of Adobe Dreamweaver and Adobe Flash.
Special interests or expertise in typography, photography, or other creative areas will be emphasized and exercised
