Job Duties Responsibilities A Product Modeling Analyst position in Pricing and Product Management offers an opportunity to be involved in the development of complex solutions to critical business problems faced by GEICO!

The key to succeeding in the auto insurance industry is being able to better predict and analyze the risk potential that customers have when it comes to accidents and insurance losses and expenses. The Pricing and Product Management department's main responsibility is to make recommendations for pricing and product changes that will allow us to make an acceptable underwriting profit while optimizing our growth as a company. As a Product Modeling Analyst you will be collecting, organizing, validating and analyzing data to support these product reviews or pricing analyses, utilizing statistical modeling and analysis techniques on state specific and countrywide data, and then presenting and communicating your proposals to all levels of management, including the regional and corporate executives. Candidate Qualifications * Bachelor's degree; minimum 3.0 undergraduate GPA
* Demonstrated ability in mathematical, statistical, financial or economic related analyses
* Ability to work within a project plan
* Programming skills, such as SAS, SQL, Statistical Modeling tools or similar, and demonstrated ability to learn new tools
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Excellent quantitative and problem solving skills
