This is a unique position....We are in need of a Production Tech/Assistant Intern. You'll gain experience in all aspects of production: directing, producing, editing, hosting/broadcasting, sound design, scriptwriting--you'll also gain experience w/contracts, non-disclosure agreements, releases, Intellectual Property Rights, etc. MUST have good attitude, be willing to learn, and have an open mind. Many have applied, but couldn't or were unable to meet criteria. Larger Production Houses are watching, so we need this project to be exciting, informative, and professional!
Responsibilities
We need a production assistant to run cams, digital recording equipment, EMF's, etc. You'll be asked to take shots from odd positions & angles to intensify footage for editing purposes. Sometimes this won't make sense to you, so the ability to follow direction is key & professionalism a must. Once we get to know you, and your abilities, your opinion about angling and quality will be more than welcome.
You will also learn how to take all footage & sound and edit it together into an EXCITING broadcast. Editing will be w/motion picture style, but with documentary footage.
Requirements
A good attitude has been the most difficult to find ~ experience can be imbued, but not without the former. Respect for fellow workers and owners--have an open mind & willingness to learn. Experience with cameras, video cams, editing software for music and video.
