Opportunity in Battle Creek, MIKelly IT ResourcesWhere teamwork and technology converge.Every day, Kelly IT Resources (KITR) connects experienced support-level professionals to senior-level professionals with opportunities to advance their careers.We currently have an exciting contract opportunity for a Programmer in Battle Creek, MI.The Plant IT Coordinator will be a member of the plant staff and be responsible for IT systems within the plant. The IT Coordinator will support the manufacturing systems within the plant including PC Support, Helpdesk, Network Equipment, Server Equipment and Software.
Responsibilities and prospects for the Programmer include:Primary Responsibilities include maintenance, training, and support of plant IT systems and programs phones, computers, servers, printers, and network.Act as Corporate IT business partner with the plant and ensure the plant is meeting corporate IT guidelines and working within corporate IT policy and assist in implementing corporate-related IT strategies.Support the execution of IT projects, including monitoring project status and driving local activities to ensure timely completion, communicate project status and potential problems to supervisors, team members, and others as appropriate.Support the continuous technical improvement of the facility, equipment, warehouse and production systems in support of plant business goals.Participate in the business planning and budgeting process. Develop short and long-term cost containment/reduction strategies.Develop and maintain IT processes and systems, and ensure adequate level of technical resources to support facility efficiency initiatives Responsible for supporting the execution of IT projects Work closely with contracted resources, and all departments within the plant Report to Engineering/Facilities Manager or IT Manager with a dotted line to corporate IT. Responsible for 24/7 support of the local IT environment and user community Maintain an understanding of the plants infrastructure and equipment, identifying potential problems and opportunities Recommend strategic courses of action, considering immediate and long-term implications, benefits, costs, and risks associated with decision alternatives Qualifications and educational requirements for the Programmer include:
