DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW The TRS Professional Services (PS) department performs customer engagement activities across the globe supporting TrueVUE software and hardware installation services. To support these activities, PS employs the collaboration tools SharePoint 2010 and Project Server 2010 as well as project management methodologies. JOB OVERVIEW The TRS Professional Services department is offering an internship opportunity for students majoring in computer science and/or business with a preference to those candidates with extensive exposure to Microsoft business collaboration software tools. Roles Responsibilities
  • Assist with SharePoint administration
  • Assist with Project Server administration
  • Assist with developing training programs for project managers and resources
  • Help design and implement project archiving procedures
  • Assist with resource scheduling and leverage resource assignments across the PS project portfolio


  • Expect to graduate in Dec 2014 or Spring 2015 with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration
Experience At least two years' experience working in a customer facing service industry At least one year experience with business travel Desired Skills and Competencies: Full familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (inlcuding project and visio) Experience with SharePoint designer Experience with SQL and SQL connectors preferred
  • Detail oriented with good organizational skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ideal: programming experience with Microsoft products
Availability: Assignment starts June 2014.
