Wilks Broadcasting Group Kansas City is seeking energetic student interns for the fall/spring/summer semesters, who can work a flexible schedule, approximately 10-15 hours per week. Internships are available in numerous stations at Wilks Broadcasting Group Kansas City. This is an excellent opportunity for students who want to get real world experience promoting a variety of radio stations which include: KMXV Mix 93.3, KBEQ 104.3, KCKC Alice 102.1, and KFKF 94.1. Internship positions are available in promotions, marketing, sales, production, and digital/web support departments. Responsibilities
Interns' duties include but are not limited to: representing the station at events, remote broadcasts, and non-traditional events, conducting listener research, contacting winners of contests, providing recaps to clients of events, putting together media kits, writing on-air copy and designing promotional and marketing materials. The internship is open to all majors, but is especially beneficial to those majoring in journalism, communications, business, marketing, advertising, and public relations. Students must receive college credit for the internship and be at least a sophomore.
Requirements
This is an unpaid internship, and MUST be for college credit.
