DescriptionAmerican Telehealthcare (www.atelehealthcare.com) is a division of Horizon Healthcare, Inc. (www.horizonhealthcareinc.com) (in business since 1990); and an affiliate of Matt Talbot Recovery Services, Inc. (www.mtrcinc.com) (in business since 1965). In March of 2013, we successfully deployed our state-of-the-art proprietary healthcare delivery system for psychiatric services, AT e-Psych. The system eliminates geographical boundaries. It enables patients from anywhere to connect with our psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, psychologists, and counselors over the internet through video-conferencing, remote monitoring, and other cloud-based technologies. Patients receive synchronous (i.e., virtual face-to-face in real time) services on any internet-accessible device (desktop with monitor, laptop, smart phone, tablet, etc.) The system uses EMR (electronic medical records) and electronic prescription of controlled substances. In short, AT e-Psych is a revolutionary virtual, cloud-based delivery system for psychiatric services. Teleheathcare is the wave of the future. American Telehealthcare is leading the way.
We have continuous openings for interns to participate with our psychiatrists and other providers in delivering services to our clients. The services include patient intakes, medication management, and psychotherapy. The internships are both physically-based, at our various outpatient "originating site" clinics in the Milwaukee area; and virtually-based, with the intern participating from any location worldwide. Interns may participate on a flexible schedule basis, including evenings and weekends.
