Description: - Public Relations/ Social Media/ Marketing - Start-up experience with a globally growing start up company. - Remote < 90%, Newport Beach office > 10% (flexibility 2 Saturdays/ month upon office invite) -Part Time (10 hours/ week minimum) - Part Time and Full time internships are available for students in related fields of study. StartUp Opportunity RadioFlag team mates (on the software development side as well as marketing dept.) have been recruited by Amazon, Microsoft ,Google, Warner Brothers, and Creative Artists Agency to name a few. Public Relation / Marketing members on our team will have the opportunity to learn a ton and contribute in a creative and flexible manner, while learning all facets of developing an innovative evolving start up business; from tech development, business development, UI design, marketing, promotions, branding, public relations, buzz marketing, media outreach, and much more etc. Candidates who do qualify will be offered an experience of a life time, to participate in a classic Silicon Valley style tech start up, with seasoned and successful team members, who have led these processes before. This is an opportunity for talented, self-driven, entrepreneurial minded public relations /marketing professionals , to become part of the founding tech team of a quickly emerging start up, and to qualify to receive equity compensation, after a successful trial period and / or positive team evaluation.

Responsibilities

Function/Role: Carry out RadioFlag directives for press and media outreach Contribute and collaborate creatively Research/ assist and /or direct development of new media contacts and opportunities Support global relations efforts (if applicable) Assist in representing RadioFlag at press junkets / media engagements Aid in the management of social media outreach via facebook, twitter, and youtube Lend creatively to various promotional /marketing strategy developments

Requirements

Qualifications: Must love music Self driven entrepreneurial attitude Ability to contribute effectively to the overall goals of the team Flexible and strategic thinker Great team player, who also works well independently Savvy w/ social media; facebook, twitter, etc. Able to pick up a new social media quickly Good writing skills Stellar research skills Ability to follow directives thoughtfully and thoroughly Willingness to learn and excel through feedback and constructive evaluation Enthusiastic to take ownership of new projects, w/ initial team guidance & support Self motivated / self starter Responsive, reliable, and effective communicator--public speaking skills a big plus Must have iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Windows7 or Laptop capabilities and internet access. Time commitment: Part time- 10-15 hours/ week. Saturday flexibility in case of office invites --flexible 2 Saturdays per month.
