The objective of this program is to generate and manage publicity for the Hillcrest Event Center. Students should have writing experience before considering this program. Writing assignments will include press releases, speeches, reports, and media pitches. This internship also includes research skill development, and managing the publicity budget. You will work as a member of the publicity team and the whole team at Hillcrest Event Center.


-Write proper emails, memos, letters, reports, proposals, news releases, broadcasts, ad copy, material for the Internet, speeches, newsletters, brochures, magazines, and annual reports
-You will be responsible for writing media pitches and researching media outlets
-Create awareness on social media such as Facebook, blogs, twitter, and
-You will develop connections with consumers, and maintain and build relationships


-Maintain an open channel of communication with formal and informal meetings
-Keep in mind your learning objectives
-Have excellent human relations skills, written and verbal communication skills, and strong decision-making abilities
-Possess skills at initiating innovative ideas, unifying team members, and judging correctly what will appeal to target audiences
-Ability to meet deadlines
