DescriptionWürth Service Supply, Inc. is looking for two top-notch candidates for Quotes Specialists positions at the Bedford Heights, Ohio facility. The Quotes Specialists will identify industrial/MRO items (i.e., fasteners) from blueprints, samples and/or customer specifications to source, quote and price items accurately, competitively, and profitably.

ResponsibilitiesRegularly, the Quotes Specialists are responsible to do the following: ?
Thoroughly inspect customer blueprints, samples, and/or specifications to accurately identify parts and prepare for quotation; Submit quote requests (RFQs) to Company’s preferred supplier base; ?
Negotiate with suppliers regarding cost, quantity, delivery, and terms of service;
Use established pricing systems and sourcing procedures;
Discuss competitive pricing terms with field sales team based on forecasted customer demand and commitment level;
Assist in special accounts, authorized stock, overflow of customer calls, quotation of blanket orders, and maintenance of customer and supplier pricing schedules; ?
Assist in special accounts and maintenance of customer and vendor pricing schedules; ?
Update system information related to customer and vendor contacts, as well as enter new supplier information, product pricing and terms.
RequirementsBachelor’s degree from accredited university required, Supply Chain or Business major preferred
2+ years’ experience in high volume purchasing and/or sourcing activities
Quality control or engineering background, and/or experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with outside vendors and Company customers
Exemplary research and analytical skills
Professional communication and negotiation ability
Experience in dimensional verifications and other test equipment/instruments
Strong understanding of fasteners and related MRO products
Exceptional Microsoft Office skills and ability to become proficient in Company integrated database systems; MRP expertise; experience in SAP or Epicor platform preferred
High attention to detail
Ability to organize and manage workload to meet deadlines
