Summer Internship Program Overview
Novozymes’ Summer Internship Program provides a wide range of opportunities for current college students. We pride ourselves in offering real-world projects and providing interns with multiple networking opportunities to help you learn and grow both personally and professionally. Summer internships are offered for undergraduate students (minimum sophomore standing), as well as graduate students (MS PhD).
Summer Internships will last for 12 weeks, are full time, and will start on May 12th, 2014. To be considered for an internship, your resume must be received by January 15th. You will hear back from Novozymes starting in early February on your status in our process.
Please note: These internships will work in our Franklinton, NC location.
Research Development/Technical Service Internships
Our RD and Technical Service departments are looking for great interns for next summer. Specifics are still being worked out for individual projects, but rest assured details will be provided during the interview process. Hiring managers will match candidates to the group and project for which the candidate is best qualified.
• Enrollment in a BS, MS or PhD degree program focusing in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Food Science, Biology, Applied Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology or related concentration
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (PLEASE INCLUDE GPA ON RESUME)
• Hands-on chemical laboratory experience, including use of analytical equipment
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
As an intern at Novozmes, you will work on projects that give you first-hand experience of what it’s like to work in the biotechnology industry.
