Data indicates the micro-placement and uniformity of skin care products on the skin substrate largely impact consumer relevent attributes like SPF value, product appearance, and skin feel. Yet, we lack sufficient protocols today for asssessing product micro-placement and uniformity. Past research has identified a couple promising methods for this determination, and led us to a convergent point. A disciplined, educated, problem-solver is now needed to take the project from a stage of possibility to execution. He/she will need to determine truely which endpoints are most important, and balance these needs to create a reproducible, standardized protocol (or protocol options) for product assessment. - Method development and refinement
- Data acquisition and analysis
