Rapt Productions seeks video production interns

Description:

Rapt Productions is a small video production studio based in Oakland, CA. We work with a wide range of clients in the Bay Area, focusing on dance and performance companies. Some of our clients include the SF Ballet, the SF Symphony, Kronos Quartet, ODC Dance, and Bill T. Jones. We are in production on several small documentary projects as well as a feature length on the Bay Area theater community. We're currently looking for interns eager to gain experience in a real-world video production environment.

Responsibilities:

You'll be working with broadcast-quality hardware and industry standard software on projects that will end up online, on TV, in movie theaters, and as elements in live performances. Potential activities include assistant editing, DVD authoring, footage capture, and archiving - all in an exceptionally casual, fun working environment. Our ideal intern is equally comfortable working unsupervised on a single project for long stretches and working directly with our staff to meet challenges as needed.

Potential applicants should be completely at home on Macs and have familiarity with some or all of the following:
